BREAKING: League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics Coming to the Esports World Cup

Riot Games announces that it will allow LoL and TFT Esports competitions to happen this summer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Just a quick newsletter dispatch to let our readers know about this breaking news - Riot Games will allow League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics competitions at the Esports World Cup Foundation's Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this summer.

Riot said it did not want to deprive cash-strapped teams of opportunities, plans to launch a localized version of the game in Arabic, and new servers in the region. These events will not be recognized as "official events" in the TFT and LoL Esports ecosystems.
