I’m sorry that I keep injecting negativity into your inbox, but there’s something I have to disclose publicly because it is going to have a significant impact on the content I produce in December and possibly into January, so I’m just going to get it off my chest: I have cancer.
The good news is that they caught it early and were able to remove it—but for some reason the doctor decided to tell me what was going on after a second surgery. Unfortunately, starting sometime in December I will have to have six weeks of chemotherapy/radiation treatments and I’m not sure if I am going to be able to work. Obviously I am not happy about the prospect of not producing content for the website and this newsletter (which has been neglected over the last several months short of these negative missives on medial garbage due to surgeries), but i’m just going to have to deal with it until things get back to normal.
The tdlr; is that I’m going to be okay, I’ll get past it, and we’ll get everything cranked back up to 1000.
Thank you for for reading this, for your patience, and for continuing to be a supporter of my work, You’re awesome. 💖 - James
Cancer often targets the best people, it's truly unfair.
But I have no doubt you'll get through this. Your strength and mindset will carry you further than you might think. Stay strong and keep believing in yourself.
Geez, what shit news James, I wish you all the luck.
